Holden Logo

The Holden Monaro is an automobile that was produced by GM Holden Ltd, an Australian subsidiary of General Motors, between 1968 and 1977 and between 2001 and 2005. Since 1968, three generations of the Monaro have been produced. Named after the Monaro region in New South Wales, the Monaro was introduced in July 1968 as a two door pillarless hardtop coupe available in three models. The basic Monaro coupe, Monaro GTS coupe and Monaro GTS 327 coupe. The GTS versions had full instrumentation which included a tachometer mounted on the centre console. This proved to be a bad location as the drivers knee would obstruct the view and it often rattled. The cars could be ordered with a choice of six cylinder engines of 161 cu in (2,640 cc) capacity (base only) or two versions of 186 cu in (3,050 cc) capacity (GTS with the uprated 186S only), or a 307 cu in (5,030 cc) capacity Chevrolet sourced V8. The exclusive GTS 327 model was powered by the 250 bhp (186 kW) Chevrolet 327 cu in (5,360 cc) V8. In early 1969 the HK Monaro range was awarded Wheels magazine's Car of the Year for 1968.

The HT Monaro can be distinguished from the HK by the adoption of plastic grilles, a round speedometer instead of strip style allowing for bringing the tachometer into the main instrument cluster instead of on the floor console, rubber front suspension bushes instead of the HK's sintered bronze, and larger taillights where the turn indicators also wrapped around the now slightly undercut edges. Bodywork go faster stripe designs varied for each series, HK stripes were offset to the driver's side of the bonnet and trunk, the HT had two broad stripes down the centre of the car. HT also had twin air scoops incorporated into their bonnet, which served no real purpose in delivering air into the engine bay.

The 1st in the company's numerous innovations was the Mitsubishi Design A, Japans initial series-production car or truck which was unveiled in 1917. By 1937, the organization acquired designed a four-wheel-drive sedan prototype for your Japanese military. Mitsubishi's innovative streak led for the manufacture of cars that have turn into household names worldwide. These included the Mitsubishi 500, a mass market saloon, followed in 1962 by the Minica, then the Colt, and then the first Galant (1st made in 1969). Also instrumental to Mitsubishi's success is its dynamic partnership with a variety of firms/business partners. Mercedes-Benz Logo

Mercedes is known throughout the world as a symbol of wealth and class. Mercedes Benz cars are well known for its quality and durability. Did you know that all Mercedes cars are personally signed off to maintain its quality by top engineers in the automotive industry? The history of Mercedes Benz goes back almost 150 years ago back to when Gottlieb Daimler got together with Karl Benz to form this brand that we all know today.

More than a hundred years ago, the birth of two men set the history of Mercedes Benz. Gottlieb Daimler was born in Germany. A decade later, Karl Benz was born also in Germany. Interesting enough, there were 60 miles apart but they both shared a common interest. At a very young age, both were already exposed to machines but both had different approaches to building cars which no one believed at that time they will merge.

In the year 1886, Karl Benz made his first motorized tricycle which was soon followed by a four-wheeler in 1893. Daimler on the other hand built a horseless carriage in 1886 and two years later struck a deal with William Steinway to produce his horseless carriages in the United States. Steinway produced Mercedes cars and trucks for 3 years. This was a stepping stone for the history of Mercedes Benz.

The war in Germany, played a very important role to the birth of this prestigious car. With a downfall in economy, there were little or no fuel for cars and a high tax of 15% made automobile production disastrous and because of this, Benz sought for a strong partner considering DMG but was rejected initially. Then, the economy became worse and there were very few cars in the United States with only a third of cars produced by each Benz, Ford and DMG. Due to necessity, Benz and DMG signed an agreement of mutual interest while maintaining the individual identities.

The greatest achievement in the history of Mercedes is when both DMG and Benz merged. There was an insignia made for the merger of both companies. The insignia was a three pointed star with a laurel around it with the words Mercedes on the top and Benz at the bottom. The merge was very successful and production their cars rose to about 7000 automobiles in 1927. In 1930, the largest and most prestigious car was launched and Mercedes Benz remained one of the leading brand in automotive industry till today.

Venturi Logo

Venturi Automobiles is a French-founded Monegasque-based multinational automotive manufacturer that presently designs, manufactures, and sells luxury electric vehicles, although in the past petrol-powered sports/GT cars were also sold.

Founded in 1984 by engineers Claude Poiraud and Gérard Godfroy as MVS (Manufacture de Voitures de Sport), the company's purpose was to compete in the "Grand Tourisme" market. This was only the most recent post-war attempt at building a sporty luxury car in France, following in the footsteps of Facel Vega, Monica, and Ligier. As with its predecessors, Venturi was immediately faced with many challenges ranging from an unknown name to its under-capitalized and under-staffed state. Venturi did nonetheless manage to continue in production for nearly sixteen years, declaring bankruptcy in 2000. In 2001, Monegasque Gildo Pallanca Pastor purchased Venturi, and decided to focus on electric-powered engines. This change of direction led to the limited-production Fétish.

In December 2009, Venturi announced its acquisition of French motorcycle manufacturer Voxan. The acquisition would effectively allow Venturi to enter the motorcycle market. In August 2011, Venturi announced the creation of Venturi North America, based in Columbus, Ohio. Venturi North America was primarily created as a research and development center, and as such, maintains a close working relationship with the Center for Automotive Research.

Zagato Logo

Zagato is an independent coachbuilding company and total design centre located northwest of Milan in the Terrazzano frazione of Rho, Lombardy, Italy. The company's premises occupy an area of 23,000 square metres (250,000 sq ft), of which 11,000 square metres (120,000 sq ft) are covered.

History: Ugo Zagato (he was born in Gavello, near Rovigo, on June 25, 1890) began his coachbuilding career in 1919 when he left Officine Aeronautiche Pomilio to set up his own business in Milan. This was: “the construction and repair of bodies for automobiles and airplanes”. He did so with the intent of transferring sophisticated constructional techniques that combined lightness with strength from the aeronautics to the automotive sector. Cars of the time were still bulky and heavy: Ugo Zagato conceived them as lightweight structures, with a frame in sheet aluminium similar to an aircraft fuselage. This change in direction came to represent a fundamental chapter in the history of taste and saw, in Europe, the adoption of the concept of functionalism applied to automotive design.

Awesome Car Logo Ideas

The message that any car business trademark wants to convey to its customers is one of speed, dependability, strength and style. Since cars are not only a means of communication anymore but also a symbol of class, style and advancing technology, the faster and stylish they are, the more popular they will be. Hence the same features of style, speed and high quality should be reflected in a car logo as well.

The brand mark of a car corporation should be simple enough to be memorable and distinct enough to be differentiated from others.

Below mentioned are some of ideas for your car business image.

1. Use animal attributes to symbolize your company features:

A car company logo should portray speed, reliability and power. The animals that are perfect to portray that message to the viewers are horses, cheetahs, bears, bulls and eagles because of their grace, strength and intimidating personality. You can use a sprinting horse to signify grace, speed and steadiness or you can use a leaping leopard to represent speed and style. You can also use an eagle's wings in your brand mark to symbolize speed and sharp sightedness or a raging bull to represent competitiveness and strength.

2. Use the corporation name within a ring like structure:

The most famous trend in car trademarks is the use of rings. The ring is a symbolization of car wheels and also adds an air of simplicity to the design which is why it is so popular. Since this shape is so flexible, it can be used in a variety of styles. For example you can use the corporation name or initial in a ring or you can put a lot of rings together or within each other creatively to symbolize your brand. You can also add symbols that signify speed and motion in your ring like structure for example; you can add a thunderbolt in the ring or wings of a hawk around the ring to depict speed. You can also use ovals or mandala like patterns to make your car logos distinct from others.

3. Use abstracts of speed and strength in the design:

Using abstracts in car firm images is another rising trend. Abstract effects give a subtle feel of the company features that makes the image interesting and eye catching. You can use abstracts of speed and style in your design for example; you can use the company initial or a car illustration with a few horizontal lines to represent speed or use a ribbon effect to symbolize style.

Hence, you can use a lot of ideas to create your car firm trademark but the only rule to remember here is to maintain the design's simplicity as that is the only factor that can signify quality and make your logo memorable.
